Twilight pictures to come, then Twilight.. THEN MORE TWILIGHT!

So after attending JohnJoseco's streams and screaming "GOOD LORD THE SPEED!!"

I thought "Screw it" and bought one of those Wacom Cintiq's.

So, so much quicker to draw and colour, and just a nicer drawing experience overall... I've always had difficulty drawing looking at the monitor and not looking at my hand so it's just a God send to me. It's just a bit scary sometimes as you think your scratching it, but it seems OK so far.

My only complaint would be I did not suddenly become amazing

Anyway,

I keep watching a lot of stream's trying to see how others do it, especially the colouring now. It really helps people who are learning to draw like myself so I thank all the artists who kindly stream for everyone.

Drawing Schedule:

I dunno as I've started Uni... Just any free time i guess! I really suck at coming up with idea's at the moment, as in I can't think of anything to draw..
It's like "Ok, I want to draw Twilight and Dash.. Doing.. BLANKKKKKKKK" I can't think of poses or anything and it's getting harder and harder to do something which hasn't been done, and that is within my skill level.
So when i find peoples rough sketches it's like... "YES! I'll do that!"


Anyway, that's enough of a ramble.

Long story short..

Was asked to do some commissions *Cough-cough requests*, so I did! The first two went well, I'm really pleased with them..  The final one on the other hand, well.. Nearly 4 weeks of trying and 17 pictures later. Nothing..

Scrapped after scrapped, they all suck.

My patience is wearing thin, confidence is slipping and the desire to draw is almost non-existent.  


People have noted me regarding requests/commissions and I've been holding off replying in the hope I would recover..
But this just isn't going to happen, at least not for anytime soon.. Apologies for those who waited.


So, I'm packing it in..

I'll keep doodling in attempt to someday return.. But for now I cannot afford to keep sitting here night after night drawing **** trying to make that happen.

Hell, I do webapps and databases for goodness sake, I'm not an artist!!

So.. Cheerio for now.

What am i up to?

Still not to sure, I read a story the other day about Spitfire and Rainbow Dash called "With a Spark".. One of the best stories I think I've read.. But it left me so angry, raged, sad upset and confused! It's still lingering in my mind several days on!

Very tempted to draw some stuff from it, just all i can think of is Rainbow Dash kicking Spitfires ***

So, I've been watching a lot of the "Kloudmutt" and "MS" live drawing sessions lately, till the wee hours of the morning I might add and I must say.. I tip my hat to their amazing skills.

Kloudmutt is just so insanely quick at doing a sketch and I'm just amazed full stop how MS can draw in flash like that.

OK, so what am I doing? Well.. It's all changed:

• Bed head Twilight .. I'm benching this one for now, I'm just not feeling it!

• Scootaffection comic .. I keep trying to do it but it's just not happening. I think I enjoy doing something NEW as opposed to coming back to something again and again..

So.. What are you doing? You ask.

I do apologize for the lack of ponies and peoples requests i still want to do/finish.

(Sorry but i had to draw SpitFire.. I mean, HRNNNG... )

Unexpected project at work and home has left me without as much time as i would like for ponies at the moment.

It shouldn't be much longer, another week or so..



On another note, on avg. I visit Equestria Daily 47 times a day at work.. I Love that place!

Working through these requests at the moment, I think I'll be doing 5-6 in total, that should give me enough time to finish a comic I'm working on for next months competition!

So far I've enjoyed doing this bronie request, it really is enjoyable in a strange way.. So rest assured the chances are high I'll be doing another.

I've had a terrible weekend of drawing, scrapping five incomplete pictures! Cause i was simply unable to draw the poses/idea i was after..

So i've decided..

Ponies got me into drawing.. And dammit, this awesome fandom makes me want to get better at it. And hopefully doing something like this will help me improve my art or even help me produce pictures quicker! Either of which i'll gladly accept!

So.. LETS DO THIS!

- NO OC's
- I'll do up to 3 characters per picture!
- Comic Requests - YES, but no more than 3 panels.. Unless 2 are almost the same, then ill consider 4. (2 characters ONLY for comics! 3 If its just for 1 panel!)
- Nothing hard please!!.. Look at my Gallery, it should give you a fair idea of my skill level and what i'm able to draw!
- Shipping? You know i don't mind that.. Scootabuse? Mmm, OK.. The only thing i do draw the line at is Vore/Gore (Is that even allowed here?)

It takes me around 3-4hrs PER CHARACTER to draw/colour and sadly I still have a couple more months to go on my work placement.. So i'm not going GODLIKE like "johnjoseco" and doing 30+ requests!

Maybe 5 pictures and a comic? I don't know yet.

Sent me a note with your request.

Once i recieve either enough requests or have decided which pictures i'm going to do, I will close this and stop accepting requests.

This Bronie Request is PURELY on a "I can draw this" basis! Nothing else!

I may not colour the picture.. But i'm 99.9% sure i will!

Several things,

A comic is coming.. But its something different, I've also got a couple of idea's for pictures with Twilight and Trixie, And i just know Buttersc0tchSundae's [link] upcoming stories are going to be amazing and want me to draw them even more.

I've just had Laser Eye Surgery so i can't stay on the computer very long periods at the moment, but I'll try get something else out this weekend or Monday.

Ok, well..

I've lost/deleted/overwritten SOMETHING.. to the storyboard i made a couple weeks back.

I've got the first 3 panels i made on paper and the 2 bonus panels i was going to add on the end.. But i have NO IDEA how it went :/

I've missed a day now of drawing it.. And i really don't want to start drawing it if i don't know how it goes, cause dammit.. I've done that before.

So yeah..

I was planning on having AJ make RD "Wing-Boner" again after returning to apologize for teasing her earlier..

BUT HOW does she do it?

THROW ME SOME IDEAS!

The Sequel to the comic i did a couple of weeks ago is the next thing to be done..

Storyboards done, I've over a week off.. Lets see if i can get it done before this weeks up.

It should be better this one, as the dialog makes more sense!

Honestly, my body is just not ready..

I'm going to have to tie myself to the chair from the amount of screaming and involuntary body movements this episode is going to cause.

I will be doing a continuation of the last comic i did as i think i have quite a funny idea for a sequel.

I've no time to crank it out at the moment but I've got some time off coming soon so hopefully i can do it over easter.


The newest episode was hilarious! And i managed to get all the episodes in HD which i'm currently going through again and again..

I have a feeling i may be drawing Trixie again!

Also a couple of ideas from the last episode, dammit.. To many ideas not enough time!
